Workflow expectations
A few of the workflow expectations for any interpreter assigned to cover a Sierra job. As a member of our team, we expect you to represent Sierra Interpreting with professionalism and effectiveness.
Job Offers
Offers are sent via SMS. Accept or decline each offer directly in the app portal. If a job is not visible, it was likely claimed by another interpreter first.
Confirm Jobs
When you are assigned a job, you will receive an SMS notification and must confirm it directly through the app portal.
Closing Jobs
Close every job in the portal within 24 hours — report actual start and end times and any follow-up. Call the office right away if you have trouble closing.
No-Shows
If a patient or practitioner is a no-show, report it immediately as an issue to the office at (949) 713-6484. Failure to do so may result in a non-payable job.
Emergency Declines
Once you have confirmed a job, if you become unable to complete the assignment you must contact the office immediately.

- Your username is your email — type the first letter in lower case.
- Passwords are case-sensitive; the default is password1 unless you have changed it.
- Do not use the “Sign Up Now” link — your account is already created for you.
- Do not download the Interpreter Intelligence app; use the Sierra portal URL above.
